Re: Raspbian + libgstreamer + stvideo and non-1080p src

gstreamer-1.14.2.tar.gz Hi, I have uploaded the updated GStreamer and attached it to this message. To install you need to remove existing gstreamer and plugins sudo apt-get remove gstreamer1.0 sudo apt-get remove gstreamer-1.0 Then install the tar file: sudo tar -C / -axf gstreamer-1.14.2.tar.gz Th...

Re: USB sound card

Hi, You will though it is quite simple to do, to recompile it for Raspbian you will need to loosely follow the Starkl guide present on the wiki though all the required steps are listed below. Please ask if you need clarification on a step: This guide presumes the use of a Linux machine, however it s...

Re: USB sound card

Hi,
To enable this you simply need to enable CONFIG_INPUT_CM109 kernel config.
Do you know how to do this or do you need more help?
Thanks,
Matt

Re: Serial UART in Raspbian

Hi, Currently the serial console outputs to ttyAS0, this is set up in the uenv.txt for Raspbian. Along with this, it is possible to change the device tree to enable alternative uart lines (checkout https://www.4kopen.com/wiki/advanced-tips/40-pin-4kopen-connector for the possible uart pins) Thanks, ...

Re: Output Resolution

Hi, It occurs to me that there is a slight difference between booting from SD card and USB, all of my testing has been done through a USB device. Which are you using? Thanks, Matt PS. if you are using an SD card, the development version has "./etc/udev/rules.d/90-qemu.rules" removed, I'm unsure if t...

Re: Output Resolution

This is the conf I used, it looks to be identical to yours. Also the last Raspbian update was a month ago if I recall, so since you got your board recently It should be fine. I'll continue looking into it but I'm unsure what the problem is currently. # Generated by sdk2-build-master/modprobe.d/stmfb...

Re: Output Resolution

Hi,
I've done some testing and as far as I can tell this works for me, is it possible that stmfb.conf didn't save properly? Along with this are you using the latest Raspsbian version from the software download page?
Thanks,
Matt

Re: Output Resolution

Hi, I'm currently looking it this, would it be possible to get the output from you running "fbset" on the board? This should output its current settings. If the monitor doesn't support 4k it shouldn't display anything rather than displaying 1080, but is the monitor 4k capable? I'll update you if I f...
